About piper

Looking for a down-to-earth therapist who offers both clarity and practical guidance? Piper brings years of experience and a steady, compassionate presence to her work with teens (12+), adults, and families. She is currently accepting new clients.

Piper takes a person-centered, solution-focused approach, partnering closely with clients as they work through challenges such as childhood trauma, sexual abuse, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and family-of-origin concerns. Her style is supportive yet direct—helping clients gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. In addition to therapy, Piper offers limited diagnostic testing and screening services.

Piper has proudly called Rockwall home for over 16 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a focus on Addiction Studies from Texas Tech University, and began her career serving diverse and high-need populations, including:

  • Devereux Residential Treatment Center, supporting teens from families in crisis

  • Covenant House, a homeless shelter providing care and stability for teens

  • MHMR, where she worked as a Mobile Rehabilitation Specialist supporting individuals with mental health needs

After earning her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Houston in 2003, Piper stepped away from full-time clinical work to focus on raising her children. During that time, she remained deeply engaged in the Rockwall community—volunteering in counseling ministries, mentoring women facing crisis pregnancies at the Pregnancy Resource Center of Rockwall, and serving in leadership roles within Rockwall ISD and local charitable organizations.

A Deep Commitment to Rockwall Families

Piper feels a strong calling to support families navigating the realities of raising children and teenagers today. With extensive experience working with adolescents and parents—and long-standing roots in the Rockwall community—she brings both professional expertise and genuine understanding to family work.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside of the office, Piper enjoys long walks with her husband of 22 years, visiting their son in College Station (Gig ’em Aggies!), riding her horse, and volunteering alongside her daughter through the National Charity League Lonestar Chapter.

Take the Next Step

Piper is honored to walk alongside individuals and families as they pursue healing, growth, and meaningful change. If you’re ready to take the next step, schedule an appointment with Piper today.
